Goodbye Nikon? Hello Canon!
I don't talk about photo gear that much but... Holy crap! Camera system change alert! Not I only did I buy one Canon camera but I bought TWO Canon camera bodies and couple of lenses! That's right! Can't wait til they arrive this week! Mmm mmm mmm!
Why? I figured I decided that I want to shoot the official camera of the 1980 and 1984 Olympics Games and the NFL. Apparently I'm a sucker for such endorsements! My Dad and his cousins have been shooting Nikons since the mid-1970's and I followed suit, but when I see something that's good for me, I'm gonna go for it.
There's going to be a learning curve here so I still have my Nikons which I'll continue to use for cosplay stuff.
And to the first perceptive persons who can guess the model of 1 of the 2 Canon cameras I'm getting, I'll, um, feature your stuff here on dA or, if you're going to Otakon, treat you to lunch!
2013 Cosplay Calendar Project
Hey all! If you follow *
Mei-Hoshi's dA journal, you'll learn that the two of us are in cahoots to produce a cosplay calendar for 2013. It's a small time project with a small time budget with a small time ROI if there is any.
We are still looking for any interestested cosplayers to apply. The dealine is May 31/June 1. I'm flexible. To be honest though, if we do not have enough people by then, I will drop my participation from the project and just try to schedule non-convention cosplay shoots as per usual.

Otakon Cosplay Photoshoots
Greetings everybody! I will be at Otakon 2012 from the late evening of July 27 through July 29 in Baltimore, Maryland. I will be offering private cosplay photoshoots for this convention on July 28 and July 29. If you are interested in doing a private cosplay photoshoot but are not familiar with my work, here's what it looks like:
I only have 2 takers so far which is unusual and disappointing. As policy, I do not initiate contact with cosplayers for photoshoots. Cosplayers would need to initiate contact by sending a photoshoot request.
